About Charity Science Health:
Charity Science Health was launched with the ambition of being the first direct-poverty charity started by EAs to become GiveWell-recommended. A year into the project we have received two GiveWell incubation grants and have helped over 200,000 new parents and their infants. The plan for the next two years is to run a high-quality RCT and, depending on the results, apply for GiveWell top charity status.
Role Description and responsibilities:
The Research Intern role at Charity Science Health (CSH) is an important role with very high potential for impact. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gather hands-on experience in research, management, and fieldwork. The interns report directly to the Research Assistant and Program Officers, providing project support in management and data analysis as needed. Currently there are two main skills sets that we require for this position: ability to critically evaluate problems and management. The main task would be to help the Program Officers in improving the M&E system and help manage the team of surveyors in conducting surveys while managing the day to day operations of the Delhi office. The Research Intern role serves as the stepping stone towards working with Charity Science Health full time. A candidate who performs well during the internship has a reasonable chance of being offered a permanent position.
